Stilson Family History Generation 3, part 13

Though there were problems with the game, and I had to redo this family.  The sims may or may not look exactly the same.  Through Generation 3 there was alot of family.  10 children were born and some died.

Back in the last part it talked of two children who died very young, probably from small pox.  Others were comeing and the family worried most of the time.  Desease was something the early americans brought with them, killing off many of the natives of the area, with these same deseases.

As time went on for the Stilson family moving around a bit in Conneticut.  The family grew, becomeing known in the area.  The towns grew, and the country grew.

Enoch was born in April of 1736, when he left home he married Freelove Stilson his cousin Oct. 31, 1754. and then later died in 1776 a year before his own father passed on.  It is a bit unknown as to what may have happened, deseases or natives, or even some of the wars occuring around the states at that time.

their 4th child, was a girl Annah, b. in 1738, married March 3, 1757 and died before 1802

5th child, Charity, a girl.  Born May 31, 1740.  married Edmund Clark and died before 1802.

6th child, was John Moses Stilson, born Oct 15th 17472 married Hannah Trowbridge, and died 1811.

7th child was a son Riverius, born July 26, 1744 married Anne Baldwin in 1767, and died in 1802.

8th child was a son Nathan, our heir.  He continues on for the family tree.  Born Oct. 14, 1746.

9th child was a daughter, Abiah born feb. 8, 1751, married Hezekiah Tredwell in 1779 and died May of 1826.

10th child, Philo a son, born June 4, 1754 married Mary Bennett, and died in 1787.

The family found many ways to enjoy life.  One of those ways was playing Dominoes
Moses and Charity enjoyed a bit of freetime away from the children, but they also enjoyed the game with the children.  It helped them in many ways, not just in family closeness, but in shareing of a game, and learning patience with each other.

Not only were there games to play but children to teach.  In this perticular picture is John Stilson on the Right being taught by his father and Nathan on the left being taught by his mother.  John it seems took after his father in looks but does have his moms eyes, and Nathan has his mothers hair color, and his fathers eyes.

Time flew by, with some of the children ageing to young adults, and marrying, leaving the Home.  But on this day it was Nathan that aged, He as a child would soon start school. Though I am sure he would have prefered going fishing and scrounging for scraps to make things with.  His brother talked of bigger and better things in life, but nathan was more of a down to earth type of guy.  Wanting to play, goof off, fish, and well like most boys just go on about life, like there was no tomorrow.

John of course had aged to a very nice looking young man.  He had a girl in his dreams and a job of his future already lined up.  It was this morning that he told his parents he was leaving, to make his own way in life.  Sadly both parents accepted the fact that their children were growing up and leaving home.  Time was about to tell on them, for they too were ageing in life.

When Nathan had finally reach'd young adulthood.  His childhood sweetheart was on his mind as well.  But his brothers wanted him to have a bachlor party before he tied the knot.  He was looking into the place and time for that as he oggled a squirl at the scrap yard.
It was the first one he had ever seen near the scraps, but he thought it was probably one of the cutest little critters in the area.  He loved watching the wildlife, about as much as he loved hunting and fishing.  Though I doubt as much as he loved his wife to be.
Elizabeth Stevens and her parents, were well known for the grocery.  Her dad being a part owner and her mom just a great cook.  Elizabeth though had a dream to not just marry and carry on with a family like a gal was suppose to, but she wanted to learn to mix juices of many flavors.  Of course she also loved to tell others how to dress and wear their hair was well.  She though style was something everyone should know and understand.

Nathan spent as much time as he could with his gal.  He enjoyed showing her off as his.  he wanted the whole town to know she was no longer available.  Her beautiful olive skin, and dark brown hair, pretty green eyes, were all he thought about when he wasn't helping his dad farm, or off fishing for some fresh meat to go with those vegies.  Styles were still early colonial , and though sometimes you would see a guy or gal, come in out of the wilds wearing furs, leathers, and other strange garmets, most were dressed in colonial.

Today we know generally of a BBQ with a gril, but back then it was outside, over an open fire.  Alot of cooking was done outside, for inside the homes were either small and compact or it was a bit to warm to cook.

Though we will now leave you with this small update on the family.  A purposal of marriage, up and comeing wedding, and bachlor/bachlorette parties.  The family is at least heading now into 4th generation.
As Nathan purposes to his lovely wife to be.

We hope to have a more adventurous family in this generation.  But had to bring them back to life someway.  Thanks for reading and come again, for Generation 4 Stilson family History.

Please leave your comments and grips. LOL, might be interesting to see what you all have to say.
